It never occurred to me that I would be interested in videography. It was an unexpected, and ultimately, rewarding journey thanks to the people I have met. It continues today, and I look forward to that.
– me
My interest in photography can be attributed to my two brothers (anh* 2 & anh 9) and a brother-in-law (anh 6). They were the family photographers, pretty much. (*brother)
I was probably in middle school at the time.
I can’t remember how old I was when I came across my brother’s lens filter catalog.
But I remember being interested in the effects they created.
I remember the first used camera I bought, the Canon AE-1.
Those were the days: manual focus, and being limited by 24 or 36 exposures per roll of film.
I noticed a lot of “keepers” were the last frame. You made that last shot count. Another fun aspect was getting the packs of prints back and looking through them. It was like opening up a present, every time.
If I remember correctly, this was the last frame on the roll. Labelled “A” on this old price list.
